THE Construction of a newly constructed concrete road at Faasitoro Auki in Malaita Province is progressing well and is expected to be completed in the coming months. This project has been funded by Australian Aid and the World Bank through the Cause Project Solomon Islands.


The Faasitoro concrete roads project commenced earlier this year and has made significant progress since its inception. The construction of this concrete road is vital for the local residents in and around Auki town and will provide a much-needed improvement in transportation infrastructure in the area.


One of the notable benefits of this project is the job opportunities it has created for the local residents living around Auki town. This has not only provided employment for the community but has also contributed to the overall economic development of the our country.


The Australian Aid and World Bank deserve recognition and gratitude for their continuous support and investment in the development and improvement of infrastructure projects in Auki. Over the past years, Auki town has greatly benefitted from the Cause Project, which has brought about significant improvements and a major facelift to the around Auki Town

The significant investment in this project reflects the commitment of the Australian government and the World Bank to support the development of Solomon Islands. By providing funding and resources to projects such as the Faasitoro concrete road, they are actively contributing to the overall growth and prosperity of these nation.
